Ethan Barley | RA, LEED AP BD+C
Bio
A Salt Lake City Native, Ethan started his architectural training at the University of Utah where he finished his Bachelors degree in architecture. Leaving home for graduate school, he earned his Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
During his time in Los Angeles, Ethan worked for one of the top architectural model shops in the country. This furthered his love of craft and allowed him to expand his knowledge of and passion for fabrication technologies.
After school he returned to Salt Lake City where he began his career in architecture working in boutique architecture firms all while maintaining a small art studio. It was during this time that he married his wife Kristina whose military work would take them on a short two year stint in Washington DC. There he gained experience in a large architecture office focusing mainly on high school design before joining up with di’velept. Our ability to have employees live anywhere lends itself well to their military life as they moved to Joshua Tree, CA, and then on to Portland, OR.
