Jeremy Larsen

Jeremy started out designing and drafting house plans well before he started into architecture and now has over 16 years of experience with project layout and construction drawings. Over the past 12 years he has gained experience in all aspects of architecture and design. Out of college he moved his family to Portland Oregon to gain experience with Bora Architects, a major design office in town. In just 2 years time he advanced from being hired as an intern-level staff to being an ARCH III licensed architect who was selected to take the project through construction.

For the past 7 years he has been designing, documenting and managing projects in our office while reimagining our remote practice, building a comprehensive project management software and developing our documentation processes and standards. Being passionate about the craft of architecture, he is expertly positioned to be your Project Architect. He will oversee the production of construction documents and code reviews, manage the project schedule, and be involved in meetings throughout the project.

Jeremy has been a Project Principal, Manager, Architect, and/or Designer on over 30 Projects at divelept including Office/Warehouse, Self Storage, Multi-Family, K-12, Single-Family, Restaurant, Event space, and other Commercial projects.

di’velept got its big start as Jeremy and Jarod Hall teamed up to work on a Self Storage project for a developer that was a mutual friend of the two. Since their first partnership to deliver a self-storage facility in Vancouver Washington, the firm has grown to having done work in 8 states and one U.S. territory.

BORA Architects | Intern - Architect III
SEP 2014 - FEB 2018 | PORTLAND, OR

Jeremy started at Bora Architects as an unlicensed architectural intern to work on a large high school project that the firm had just won. By the end of the $186 Million project, he had advance through the Architect I, and II positions, and emerged as an Architect III.

This entity was formed to allow Jeremy to continue his work in residential design once he moved to Oregon. It was from this entity that he would partner with Jarod Hall of di’velept design in order to deliver his first real commercial architecture project out on his own, a 3 story self-storage facility in Vancouver Washington that would prove to be the true beginnings of what di’velept design has become today.

Jeremy was hired at The Laport Group because of his technical expertise in BIM Software and having a good design sense. He was brought on to modify and clarify the design and documentation of 3 major Multi-Family developments that where under design and yet under construction and in need of constant clarification.

While at Diamond Phillips, Jeremy helped the office put into place some BIM management strategies and efforts to help streamline design and documentation efforts which would prove to be a common thread in all of his work sense.
